These sites, .GOV and .EDU links, are authoritive sites which gives you PR points and also a great way to diversify your current backlink building strategy search engine rankings. I thought I’d just give a brief guide on how to find these rare and powerful links.
The first idea to do is to load up Google; we’re going to use certain parameters to sort for the sites we want.
I’ll just state the Google d0rks and its up to you to put some variation..
site:.edu or site:.gov
inurl:forums
inurl:wiki
vbulletin
powered by fireboard
phpbb
invision power board
vbulletin site:.gov
site:.edu inurl:forums
“Powered by” site:.edu
The key here is the think of types of platform which you can post a link in the site then add the site:.edu parameters in the search query. the more you can think of the more sites you’ll find.
